The theme for last Sunday’s morning worship was “Weeds and Judgement”. On door duty this Sunday are: Mrs M. Gardiner, Mr J. Christie, Mr J. McLellan and Mr G. Ferguson. On tea duty are: M. and P. Ferguson, B. Daye and J. Currie. The flowers for this service are being donated by H. Waugh. The remaining Martha’s Cafe in Redding Church hall will take place on Tuesday, August 5, at 2 p.m. ‘Falkirk Presbytery’s Got Talent takes place on Saturday, September 13 in Falkirk Trinity Church from 10 a.m. till 3.30 p.m. Information leaflets with details of activites and workshops are available, along with booking forms which should be returned as soon as possible. £5 fee includes snack lunch. All are welcome to join the congregation at morning worship each Sunday at 10 a.m., including any visitors to the village.
Laurieston Spiritualist Church will have Andrew Lindsay from Falkirk as guest medium for its service in the Old Folks Welfare Hall in Mary Street on Monday, July 28. Doors open 6.45 p.m., service starts 7.30 p.m. Everyone welcome.
There is an evening walk every Wednesday. Just turn up at Laurieston Square for 7 p.m. and enjoy a walk around the Helix south paths. Walks are led by experienced walk leaders and we suggest that suitable footwear and clothing be worn. For further details contact Ian Wright on (01324) 636799.
