There will be no 3 p.m. Gospel Meeting at the Cotton Lane Gospel Hall during July and August. Gospel meetings will recommence in September.
At last Sunday’s morning worship members were invited to compare childlike faith with childish faith. We are asked to remember family and friends and victims in wartorn countries in our prayers. On door duty on Sunday are: Mrs M. Ferguson, Mrs J. Currie, Mr W. Daye and Mr P. Ferguson. The flowers for this service are being donated by Betty Walker. The next service at Barleystone Court Nursing home is on Wednesday, July 16, at 2 p.m. It will be led by Margaret Ross, who would appreciate other people being there to held with the singing. Martha’s Cafe takes place in Redding Church hall fortnightly over the summer. The next one will be on Tuesday, July 22 at 2 p.m. Falkirk Presbytery’s Got Talent, is on Saturday, September 13, in Falkirk Trinity Church from 10 a.m. till 3.30 p.m. Information leaflets, with details of activities and workshops, are available today, along with booking forms which should be returned as soon as possible. £5 fee includes snack lunch.
Laurieston Spiritualist Church will have Rae Walker from Grangemouth as guest medium for its service in the Old Folks Welfare Hall in Mary Street on Monday, July 14. Doors open 6.45 p.m., service starts 7.30 p.m. Everyone welcome.

There is an evening walk every Wednesday. Just turn up at Laurieston Square for 7 p.m. and enjoy a walk around the Helix south paths. Walks are led by experienced walk leaders and we suggest that suitable footwear and clothing be worn. For further details contact Ian Wright on (01324) 636799.
