RSCDS Classes

The local RSCDS Beginners Class will meet in Laurieston Primary School from 6.45 to 7.45 p.m. on a Tuesday night, no partner required and accompanied children are welcome. Gospel Hall

The preacher at the 3 p.m. Sunday Gospel meeting in the Cotton Lane Gospel Hall will be Mr Kenneth Murray from New Stevenson. Tea and biscuits will be served afterwards. Everyone is welcome.

Parish Church

Dr Henderson continued her study of the Lord’s Prayer, concentrating on “Our Father”. On door duty next Sunday are: Mrs M. Hoggan, Mrs M. Erskine, Miss M. Brown, and Mr S. Arneil. There are still a few dates available on the Flower List for 2015 in the information area. If you would like to donate flowers please put your name on the list next to the date required. Mrs M. Gilmour will donate the flowers this Sunday. On tea duty are Mrs M. Andrew, Mrs J. White, Mrs C. Park and Mrs S. Marshall. The Guild meets on Tuesday afternoon at 2.30 p.m. when they welcome Mr W. Risk, who always has something interesting to tell us. The Burns Supper is on Saturday in the Greenpark Centre at 7.30 p.m. Remember to bring your own refreshments.

Medium’s Visit

Laurieston Spiritualist Church will have Andrew Lindsay from Falkirk as guest mediums for its service in the Old Folks Welfare Hall in Mary Street on Monday. Doors open 6.45 p.m., service starts 7.30 p.m. Everyone welcome.

Health Meeting

Have you had a stroke or heart condition and free on Fridays? Why not come to the Friday Stroke Club, Community Centre, The Thrum, Laurieston from 10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. This is a social club. Tea/toast on arrival with dominoes, sandwich lunch then prize bingo. £3 weekly plus £1 for lunch. Please come along and see us or call Muriel on 07931 326732.
