LOFWA

A good turnout on December 11 will be greatly appreciated at the coffee morning, when LOFWA welcomes the primary school choir to share Christmas celebrations. A warm welcome is extended to parents and families whose children would value their support. On December 12, at 7.30 p.m. the group welcome sAlex Anderson who will entertain at the Christmas party. Come along and join in the festive fun.

Parish Church

On door duty this Sunday, December 7, are Mrs M. Andrew, Mrs J. White, Mrs C. Park and Mrs S. Marshall. The flowers for this service are being donated by Mrs E. Gillies. The 2015 list is in the information area. There will be an opportunity to donate to Falkirk Food Bank over the next four weeks of Advent. Mary and Joseph have started their journey around the congregation. Refreshments will not be served after morning worship as Board members will be preparing for the taste of Christmas and are asked to be at the hall at 2 p.m. Polmont Old Parish Church is holding A Celebration of Carols and Music next Sunday in the church at 3 p.m.

Gospel Hall

The preacher at the 3 p.m. Sunday Gospel meeting in the Cotton Lane Gospel Hall, will be Mr Jim Murray from Holytown. Tea and biscuits will be served afterwards. Everyone is very welcome.

Cash Bingo

An evening session is on every Sunday in Laurieston Community Hall (in the park). Doors open 6 p.m., eyes down 6.45 p.m. Two snowballs to play for. Refreshments available. Call 07773 991931.

Medium’s Visit

Laurieston Spiritualist Church will have Shona and Rhona from Armadale as guest mediums for its service in the Old Folks Welfare Hall in Mary Street on Monday, December 8. Doors open 6.45 p.m., service starts 7.30 p.m. Everyone welcome.
