RSCDS Classes

Many thanks to Harry Rennie who came along to entertain us with his accordion last Friday night. Despite the poor turn out a great time was had by all. We would like to remind everyone that the coffee mornings are open to all members of the public and everyone is welcome to come along every Thursday at 10 a.m. for a cuppa and a blether.

Parish Church

On door duty on Sunday are Mrs M. Andrew, Mrs J. White, Mrs C. Park and Mrs S. Marshall. On tea duty are Mr and Mrs Ferguson, Mr B Daye and Mrs J. Currie. The flowers for the service are being donated by Mrs L. Ferguson. Volunteers are required to assist in tidying the trees in the lane leading to the halls. If you are able to help please meet tomorrow (Friday) at 9 a.m. Come along and enjoy a fund raising fete at St Margaret’s Church of Scotland Care Home in Polmont on Saturday at 2 p.m. All the usual stalls and refreshments. There will be a charity concert with St John’s Singers for the Place of Restoration Children’s Shelter in Bonnybridge St Helen’s Church on Friday, May 8. Tickets £6 (including refreshments).

Medium’s Visit

Laurieston Spiritualist Church will have Billy Black from Livingston as guest medium for its service in the Old Folks Welfare Hall in Mary Street on Monday, doors open 6.45 p.m., service starts 7.30 p.m. Everyone welcome.

Prize Bingo

The Rainbows, Brownies & Guides are holding a prize bingo in the Scout Hall tonight (Thursday) in aid of funds at 7 p.m. All welcome.
