It was hard work not luck that helped 13 members of 5th Stenhouse Guides achieve their Baden-Powell Challenge Award.

The girls all received the highest achievement in Girl Guiding at a presentation evening in Larbert Old Parish Church hall last month.

Awards were made to Daisy Hunter, Emma Lauder, Emma Lockyer, Erin Cully, Erin Duncan, Katie Gardner, Mairi Alexander, Megan McGuckin, Mhairi Williamson, Rachel Corr, Rebecca McDowall, Sarah Cook and Sarah Laing.

To complete the course the girls had all to complete ten clauses from five different areas, including healthy lifestyles, global awareness, discovery, skills and relationships and celebrating diversity. They also had to take part in a residential Baden-Powell Challenge adventure.
