The Kirk Session of Tulliallan and Kincardine Church met last night (Wednesday). The service next Sunday, September 14, is at 10.30 a.m. and will be led by the Rev Alec Shuttleworth. Tea and coffee will be served after the service. The Young Church meet at 10.30 a.m. The fundraising committee’s latest quiz sheet competition is now available from all members of the session and board. Tickets, priced at £5 for the cheese and wine/silent auction on Saturday, September 20, are available from members of the fundraising committee. As tickets for this event are limited, they will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Any donations of quality items for the silent auction will be gratefully appreciated. As a result of the fundraising committee holding a stall at the walled garden market, Righead, last Sunday, September 7, the excellent sum of £221.50 was realised. The Scottish country dance class is holding two free introductory classes at 8 until 9.30 p.m. in the church hall on Wednesday, September 24 and Wednesday, October 1, respectively. Normal weekly classes start on Wednesday, October 8, at the above times. New members, young or old, will be made most welcome. For more information, call 01259 731414.
