Parish Church

The World Day of Prayer Service tomorrow (Friday) is at 7.30 p.m. in the church. All welcome. The service on Sunday is at 10.30 a.m. and will be led by the Rev. Alec Shuttleworth. Tea and coffee will be served after the service. The Young Church meet at 10.30 a.m. The men’s club meets on Monday in the hall for a bowling evening. The Guild meets on Tuesday at 7.30 p.m. in the hall for a Daffodil Tea between 2 and 4 p.m. Tickets are £2 and there is a pay-at-the-door facility. The Scottish country dance class meet each Wednesday at 8 p.m. in the hall.

History Group

The next meeting is on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Hepburn Room at the Community Centre. The topic is “The Work of RNLI Volunteers” and is presented by Mr Roger Grundy. Visitors, who would find this an interesting subject, will be made welcome.
