The Kincardine Bridge will close for four nights this weekend to repair a damaged expansion joint.
Roads authority Amey say the busy A985 road will be closed to traffic between 8pm and 5am each night from Thursday to this Sunday to let the essential maintenance to go ahead.
Diversions will be in place via the A876 Clackmannanshire Bridge, but the cycle and footpaths will remain open.
Around 6500 vehicles use the Kincardine Bridge every day. But Amey says carrying out the £20,000 repair now will keep the well-used section of the network safe for years to come.
