Jewellery stolen in Falkirk

Police Scotland are investigating two housebreakings that they fear could be linked after thieves made off with jewellery from two homes in Falkirk.

The first incident occurred between 4pm and 7.20pm at Summerford Gardens on Tuesday, March 8.

The second took place between 6.15pm and 7.15pm at Anson Avenue.

A police spokesman said: “It’s possible the two are linked, and anyone who remembers seeing anything suspicious in that area around that time should contact Police Scotland on 101.”
