Hunt is on for thieves who broke into church

Police are searching for the inept offenders who broke into a church in Hallglen in the early hours of last Friday and then dropped the items they took.

The incident happened at the Church of Jesus Christ, Tanera Court at 5.30am when thieves gained entry to the premises and stole office equipment, which they later abandoned in the grounds.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone with information, particularly those who noticed a dark 4 x 4 style vehicle in the area of Tanera Court in the early hours of Friday.

Inspector Derek Easton of Falkirk Police Station said: “I am keen to hear from anyone who has any information that can help us to find these individuals.”
