The owner of The Falkirk Herald, Johnston Press, has today launched a new online property guide to help home owners, house hunters and property advertisers search the local market easier.

The new platform is in partnership with Zoopla, the second most popular property site and largest online property network in the UK.

The new website will give users access to local properties for sale and to rent, local property news, instant online property valuations and local market statistics in a one-stop shop.

Chief executive of Johnston Press plc, Ashley Highfield, said: “Zoopla is one of the most innovative players in the online property space and this partnership sees them power an exciting new property platform for our local websites.

Joe Slavin, managing director, Johnston Press Digital Classifieds, added: “A key reason for partnering with Zoopla is the great technological features they bring to our new online property offering.

“With the new platform, we will have access to all Zoopla data, but the look and feel is entirely ours.”

Alex Chesterman, founder and CEO of Zoopla, said: “We are excited to be launching this strategic relationship with Johnston Press, one of the UK’s leading regional media groups.”
