Police have appealed for the public’s help to trace a man missing from the Falkirk area.

Connor Leary (23) was last seen around 4 a.m. on Friday leaving the Voodoo Bar in Wooer Street.

He is described as 5ft 8-10in, of slim build, with dark brown hair and a beard.

He was last seen wearing work clothes – a black shirt and trousers – however it is possible he will have changed.

Extensive enquiries are being carried out but all attempts to trace him have so far proved unsuccessful.

It’s out of character for Connor’s family and friends not to hear from him and they are growing increasingly concerned.

Inspector Grant Sangster from Police Scotland said: “We need to know Connor is safe and well. We know that he sometimes heads to the city centre in Glasgow and also has links in Cumbernauld and I am appealing to anyone who may have seen him to get in touch with us as a matter of urgency and reassure his family and friends that he is okay.

‘‘If anyone has any information or knowledge as to Connor’s whereabouts, please contact police.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact officers in Falkirk on the police non-emergency number, 101
