Helicopter joins search after rooftop disturbance

A man was involved in a rooftop disturbance in Falkirk town centre today.

Police were called to the incident this afternoon and vehicles were stationed in Rosehall Terrace and Cow Wynd.

A helicopter was also called to help with the search after the man escaped from the scene.

He has not yet been traced and an appeal has gone out for anyone who has information that may help the operation to call 101.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Police in Falkirk responded to an incident in the High Street area following reports of a man causing a disturbance on a rooftop.

“Local officers were supported by colleagues from the air support unit after the male made off from the area.

“Inquiries are continuing to trace this individual.”
