A community choir is looking for new talent to take the group to the next level.

Sing Forth Community Choir was formed in 2012 by Falkirk Community Trust to perform at the Olympic Torch Relay in Falkirk and its popularity has grown.

The choir is open to anyone age 16 and over who loves to sing. Members work with choir leader Dougie Flower learning a range of songs and harmonies to entertain audiences at events such as the lighting of the Jubilee Beacon, the fireworks display and at Callendar House over the festive period.

Trust development officer Hazel Beattie said: “The choir has gone from strength to strength from its inception and has become a real highlight of the week for many members.

“Singing is a great way to forget all your troubles, meet new people, have great fun and be part of an amazing sound.

We do not hold auditions or require any previous singing experience.”
