Earning a professional business qualification recognised across Europe doesn’t mean you have to attend a demanding college course – you can learn at your own pace in Denny.

Members of the Computer Flexible Learning Group learn modules on modern business administration practices such as word processing, digital spreadsheets and Power Point presentations.

It’s the ideal course for those looking to return to the workplace but are perhaps worried they lack certain skills.

The group meets each Monday at the Wider Access to Schools Project (WASP), based in Denny High School, and work towards achieving the European Computing Driving License (ECDL) a qualification recognised by businesses across the continent.

Run by WASP in conjunction with Forth Valley College, members can learn at their own speed and choose to study individual modules if they wish.

Most class members will earn the ECDL within two years.
