Rotary Club

Saturday’s Charities Day is shaping up well, organiser Jim Hunter told Grangemouth Rotary Club last week. The event, staged in the town centre, will run from 10am to 3pm and, hopefully, will not only boost the funds of local chairitable and voluntary organsiations but offer much-needed exposure to their activities. It was reported at the club’s monthly business meeting that it has been drawn away from home to Linlithgow Grange in the District 1020 Governor’s general knowledge quiz. Dates for the diary include the annual coffee morning in Talbot House on October 10, the Christmas lunch on Saturday, December 5, and the charity lunch, again in Talbot House, on December 17.
