Grangemouth girl was the "wee gift" parents could not keep

A LITTLE girl who was a "wee gift" to her parents during her short life died on New Year's Day.

Six-year-old Joley Moore,of Abbots Road, Grangemouth, passed away in Glasgow's Yorkhill Children's Hospital only days after undergoing a

procedure to see if her heart defect could be repaired.

Mum Karen (43) said: "We feel Joley was here for a purpose. She was just a wee gift we knew we wouldn't be able to keep. She enriched

many people's lives.

"We knew we wouldn't have a long life with her. We're just so very lucky

to have had six years with Joley."

"Every year was a blessing," said dad Barry(39). "Her fighting spirit

brought her through so much, but it seems that this time was just too much for her."

Life was a fight from the start for Joley, who was born with Down's Syndrome and a rare heart condition.
