This year’s Young Portonian pantomime is everything a great family night out should be.
Lillias Scougall’s ‘Richard Whittington Esquire’ had songs, dancing, action, romance, a couple of digs at good old Bo’ness and a gang of “Reservoir Rodents” with New York accents out to pull the heist of the century.
It was fun from start to finish with plenty of opportunity for all the lead characters to shine in the spotlight with musical numbers and terrific backing from the energetic and enthusiastic chorus.
By the end of the night the entire audience in Grangemouth Town Hall was up singing along with the cast.
The panto will run until Saturday night, so there’s still time to go along and enjoy the show.
