Not all books are launched with a glitzy little black dress event, but Jackman’s Jewels is not every book.
The fun novel from two local writers enjoyed a glamorous launch in Dunblane last month, attended by the town’s unofficial First Lady, Judy Murray, and the Grangemouth one will be just as fun.
The little black dress launch is at the Leapark Hotel in Grangemouth this Sunday from 2.30-4.30pm.
Jackman’s Jewels centres around two sisters and their best friends who end up in Ibiza after getting caught up in one of Jackman’s dodgy business deals. They escape to the White Isle to hide out, but chaos follows them there.
Written by Sarah McMartin and Leigh Ronald under the pen name Sarah Stewart, the book has sold hundreds of copies since October and the pair are working on a second book.
Sarah, from Bo’ness said: “The response to the book has been even better than we imagined. We started writing just for ourselves so that people want to buy our book is incredible. We are launching the e-book this week and are already working on the sequel.”
Tickets cost £18 and include a glass of bubbly on arrival, canapes, cupcake, entertainment and a signed copy of the book. Contact Jacqui Foley to reserve tickets on 07743942991.
