United Church

There will be no meeting of the Boys Brigade this Friday. All sections will resume on Friday, September 12 in Grahamston United Church Halls. Section details are as follows: Anchor Boys (ages five to seven, P1-3) meet from 6 to 7.15 p.m., Junior Section (ages eight to 10, P4-6) meet from 6.45-8.15 p.m., Company Section (ages 11-18, P7-S6) meet from 8 to 10 p.m. All boys will be most welcome. Miller Hall

On Sunday, the family lunch will be at 11 a.m. and the 6 p.m. will be with Rev. Jim Todd. Bible Study will be on Wednesday at 7.30 p.m.

St James

The service on Sunday will be conducted by Rev. Colin Mailer. Tea will be served in the hall after the service. All welcome. On Friday, September 26, a coffee morning on behalf of Macmillan Nurses will take place in the church hall. More details to follow. The church is encouraging everyone to support this very worthwhile event and importantly, raise money towards funding a Macmillan nurse who can make a difference to cancer sufferers and their families. The Thanksgiving Service is on September 28, the proceeds of which will be given to Falkirk Foodbank.
