Westfield Park

The community centre runs Taekwondo on a Monday between 5 and 9 p.m., baby sensory between 10.30 and 11.30 a.m. on Tuesday. the lunch club between noon and 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday, and a stop smoking clinic on Wednesday evening. The lunch club also runs on Wednesday and there’s a mums group between 10 a.m. and noon. All welcome.

St James

The Sacrament of Holy Communion will be celebrated on Sunday led by Rev. Colin Mailer. A joint Kirk Session meeting between St James and Bainsford Churches will be held on Tuesday, February 3 within St James Session Room at 7 p.m.

Bowling Club

The club had to play triples and pairs at last week’s games night so that everyone could get a game. The winners were Pam Stoddart, Roger Stoddart and Willie Kerr. The next games night is tomorrow (Friday) at 8 p.m. The AGM will be held in the clubhouse on Sunday, February 8 at 1 p.m. Committee members should note that a committee meeting will be held prior to the AGM commencing 11.30 a.m.

United Church

The kids Sunday club meets in the church hall at 11 a.m. Come along and make new friends while enjoying games, arts and crafts, songs and Bible stories. The Youth Group (ages 11-18) meest on Sunday at 7 p.m. in the church halls. Rainbows, Brownies and Guides meet throughout the week. The Boys Brigade meets on Fridays in the church halls: Anchor Boys (ages 5-7) from 6 to 7.15 p.m., Junior Section (ages 8-10) from 6.45 to 8.15 p.m. and Company Section (ages 11-18) from 7.45 to 10 p.m. The Guild meets on Wednesday at 7.30 p.m. in the church halls. This week it’s “Trams around Falkirk” with guest speaker Geoff Bailey. All will be made most welcome. The badminton club meets weekly in the church hall on Wednesdays from 8 p.m. Players young and old, from novice to champion are welcome. More information on all church events and activities, visit

Miller Hall

On Sunday at 11.30 a.m., the morning service will be held in the Dawson Centre, Davids Loan, Bainsford. The 6 p.m. service will be with Mr Robert Merecz. All welcome.
