Miller Hall

On Sunday, the family service is at 11 a.m. and the 6 p.m. service is with Mr Jim McFarlane. Bible study is on Wednesday.

United Church

The kids Sunday club meets in the church hall at 11 a.m. Come along and make new friends while enjoying games, arts and crafts, songs and Bible stories.

Rainbows, Brownies and Guides meet throughout the week. The Boys Brigade meet weekly on Fridays in the church halls: Anchor Boys (ages 5-7) from 6 to 7.15 p.m.,Junior Section (ages 8-10) from 6.45 to 8.15 p.m. and Company Section (ages 11-18) from 7.45 to 10 p.m. The Guild’s Christmas dinner takes place in the Cladhan Hotel on Wednesday at 7.30 p.m. The badminton club meets weekly in the church hall on Wednesdays from 8 p.m. The Xmas Factor, a Christmas service led by the youth group in aid of Christian Aid, takes place on Sunday, December 14 at 6.30 p.m. in the church. Westfield Park

A very big thank you to everyone who came along to the fun day at Westfield Park Community Centre on November 22. The day was a great success and it was lovely to see so many members of the community of all ages joining in. The mums group meets on Friday from 10 until noon. Come along and meet other mums for a coffee and and see what activities are available. Free crèche provided. Contact the centre for a place. St James

Sunday’s service will be led by Rev. Colin Mailer. The Bereavement Service will take place later that day at 2 p.m. in the church. This short service is open to anyone who has lost a loved one whether it be recently or in years past. It will last around 35 minutes and tea will be served in the hall after the service to which everyone is welcome. The children’s gift service is on Sunday, December 14 and the church asks that you bring a gift which will be distributed to disadvantaged children around the area before Christmas. Please label the gift with what age it would suit and also for a boy or girl.
