Bowling Club

The monthly dance is on Saturday and features vocalist Kevin Keys starts at 9 p.m. Free entry and all welcome. This week’s friendly match is away to Burnhead for teams 1, 2, 3 and 4. The Ladies Pairs competition is on Sunday at 9 for 9.30 a.m. start. There’s still a couple of places left, so if you want to play, contact Margaret McIntosh (Secretary) on 07732 260900.

St James

The service on Sunday will be conducted by Rev. Colin Mailer will take the form of a ‘Songs of Praise’ type service. The service on September 7 will be conducted by Rev. Colin Mailer. Tea will be served in the hall after the service. All welcome.

United Church

1st Falkirk Boys Brigade The new session of 1st Falkirk Boys Brigade begins tomorrow (Friday) in Grahamston United Church Halls. The Junior Section (ages 8-10, P4-6) meets from 6.45 to 8.15 p.m., and Company Section (ages 11-18, P7-S6) meets from 8 to 10 p.m. The Anchor Boys (ages 5-8, P1-3) will resume on Friday, September 12 at 6 p.m. All boys will be most welcome.

Miller Hall

The 11.30 a.m. service on Sunday will be held in the Dawson Centre, Davids Loan, Bainsford. The 6 p.m. service will be with Mr Jack Watson. All welcome.

Westpark Centre

The Westfield Park Community Centre AGM will be held at the Centre on Tuesday, September 16 at 7.30 p.m. Refreshments available. All residents from the Bog Road estate are welcome to attend. The Christmas Fayre will be held on Saturday, November 29 from 1 to 4 p.m. Anyone who would like a table, contact the centre and make a small donation. The community learning and development team is looking at setting up a mum’s group in the centre. Anyone interested in coming along with other mums for a chat and time to relax while the kids are in the creche please call the centre.
