St James

Rev. Colin Mailer will lead worship on Sunday when the Sacrament of Baptism will be celebrated. The service on Sunday will take the form of a ‘Songs of Praise’ type service.

Miller Hall

The services on Sunday are at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. with Mr Jim McEwan. All welcome.

Boys Brigade

The new session of the 1st Falkirk Boys Brigade begins on Friday, August 29 in Grahamston United Church Halls. Junior Section (Ages 8-10, P4-6) meets from 6.45 to 8.15, Company Section (Ages 11-18,P7-S6) meet from 8 to 10. The Anchor Boys (Ages 5-8, P1-3) resumes on Friday, September 12 at 6 p.m. All boys will be most welcome.

Westfield Park

Arts and crafts group meets on a Tuesday between 7 and 9 p.m., on Wednesdays between 10 a.m. and noon and on a Friday between 12.30 and 3 p.m. A warm welcome is extended to all who want to share their craft ideas or learn new skills. The Job Club is running on Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 10 a,m. and noon. PCs are also available to use out with these time for job searches. Contact the centre for more information. Falkirk Citizens Advice drop-in is held in the centre on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month. starting on August 28 at 12.45 p.m. The centre still has spaces in the programme timetable on various mornings and afternoons during the week.
