Pupils swapped the classroom for the outdoors and an afternoon of live music as they got ready for summer.
Graeme High School’s annual ‘G In The Park’ party - the fifth end of term festival to be organised - included street dance, Samba music, a piano solo, guitar and vocal duets, uptown punk and vocal acoustic set, a DJ and top of the bill performance from rising star Chris Atkinson from Yorkshire who has signed for the Jet Universal label - and a karaoke session led by staff.
Despite a few showers, the open-air gig was enthusiastically received by students and teachers alike who were well up to join in the fun.
The project is built around encouraging creativity, enterprise and skills for life - but it also has a more serious side.
This year’s show raised almost £2000 for Teenage Cancer Trust, Strathcarron Hospice and Simpson’s Special Care, the three charities adopted by the school in 2015.
