Rock n’ Roll lovers of Falkirk will be able to indulge their inner rockabilly at a specialist vintage salon set to open this weekend.
Hair House Locks and Flawless Aesthetics will open for business on Friday at 10am at their brand new premises at 4 Park Street, Falkirk.

The owner of Flawless Aesthetics already has a base in Larbert and loved the idea of a vintage salon so decided to expand her business to Falkirk.
Sharon McAlpine (48) said: “I love the glamour, the dresses, the whole red lipstick thing.”
Owner of Hair House Locks, Liane Murray, was a client of Sharon’s and she said “the idea just grew arms and legs”.
She said: “The main link is trichology because the skin care company I work for is trialling hair loss products.
“It’s a new image for us but I just love the glamour.”
Liane specialised in trichology, which is the study of hair and the scalp and she was voted Scottish Freelance Hairdresser of the Year in 2013.
She worked as a freelance hair stylist before eventually deciding to establish her own salon.
She said: “I’ve got 20 years in the industry and I wanted to set up a base as I’m planning a lot of events like tea parties and northern soul nights.
“Tea Jenny’s from Falkirk will be providing the catering for our tea parties and we will do bespoke packages for hen parties and can even offer dance lessons.”
The salon was officially launched at an opening party last Saturday, but will officially open its doors for business this weekend for vintage lovers.
It will be open on Friday from 10am- 8pm, on Saturday from 9am-5pm and a one-off Sunday opening at 10am-4pm.
