Flaring in Grangemouth expected as part of Ineos maintenance work
Grangemouth residents are being asked to note that there will be controlled elevated flaring from today (Monday, February 25) at the Ineos plant.
The petrochemical giant said the flaring is part of planned maintenance work at the Kinneil Terminal.
A statement released by the company said it would make “every effort to minimise the level and duration of the flaring” and apologised for any inconvenience caused to its neighbours.
