Fire destroys part of building at Dunipace Juniors

A blaze which has destroyed a large section of a disused building at Dunipace Juniors Football Club has been brought under control.

Fire crews were called to the scene just after 5.30 p.m.

At the height of the incident six appliances were in attendance from Falkirk, Larbert, Denny, Bo’ness and Stirling.

The aerial ladder platform from Falkirk and the water bowser from Larbert also attended.

A third of the former scoial club, an area measuring 10m x 50m, has been destroyed by the fire.

Firefighters remained at the scene until late in the evening ensuring the structure was safe.
