Fire and rescue service called out to blaze in Bo'ness

A fire broke out on some open ground near a commercial premises in Bo’ness earlier today leading to a swift response from Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) crews.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 14.32pm on Monday, August 8 to reports of a fire in the open nearby a commercial premises on Market Street, Bo'ness.

"Operations Control mobilised one appliance and quickly extinguished the fire. Crews left after ensuring the area was made safe."
