The family of a 53-year-old woman have been informed following the discovery of a body in a Dunipace house.
The shock find was made after emergency services were called to a fire in the Stirling Street property just before 7am on Saturday.
The surrounding area was cordoned off for around 12 hours while police and fire services carried out a joint investigation and officers have been at the scene ever since as inquiries continue.
