Peter Houston’s post-match press conference was interrupted twice by the ground’s internal PA system first calling for the head of security to report to the control room, quickly followed by a request for all remaining players supporters and staff within the stadium to vacate the premises.

Players emerged and gathered in the car parks in various states of undress, and mingled with staff and supporters from the club’s hospitality lounges while police attended to the area of concern in the main stand.

The Bairns had earlier overturned a 1-0 half-time deficit to win 3-1 thanks to goals from John Baird, Blair Alston and an own goal from Doonhamers’ Andy Dowie.
