A Falkirk businessman was left all fired up after walking over hot coals for ex-Celtic star John Hartson’s charity.
Greig Shankland, owner of Sight and Sound Scotland, is an ambassador for the John Hartson Foundation which is a testicular cancer awareness charity and he and his sound engineer Ben White took a hot walk over the coals as part of one of the foundations fundraising events.
The Grab Life by the Balls Firewalk, which took place in Glasgow, is the latest activity the pair have enjoyed, having already been a part of a black tie ball, ladies lunch and annual golf day.
Greig said: “The charity’s message is to grab life by the balls and we decided there was no better way of doing that than walking across a bed of burning coals.
“It was the best experience ever, I felt like a giant.”
Other people to brave the walk were Insane Fight Club star Grado and Clyde FC assistant boss Bob Malcolm.
The pair have also helped to promote the #knowyourballs campaign which aims to raise awareness of the signs of testicular cancer and encourage men to see a doctor if they are worried at all.
