Thanks to funding from the Church of Scotland, the event was once again held in Falkirk Town Hall last week with this year’s theme focusing on the 100th anniversary of juniors in the Boys’ Brigade. It was attended by over 400 officers and boys from six-years-old right up to 18. Led by young minister in training and talented magician Stephen Allison, the show included Christian rock band Rise from Larbert Pentecostal Church and battalion chaplain the Rev. Andrew Sarle. The battalion colours were paraded by boys from 2nd Larbert Company (Old Church), officers gave illustrated prayers and there was also an appearance from the Falkirk People’s Church Puppets. Everything was set up like a modern music gig, with lights, sound and big screen projections provided by FTH staff and Sanctus Media. Guests attending the fun packed event included a number of scouts, Falkirk Provost Pat Reid and the Moderator of Falkirk Presbytery.
