Sparks will fly at Falkirk’s annual free fireworks spectacular in Callendar Park on Thursday.
The extravaganza, run by Falkirk Community Trust, regularly attracts more than 20,00 people and is the area’s largest professional display.
The entertainment begins at 6.30pm and acts will include The Tonkerers and Dionne Hickey, while the display itself will last about 25 minutes.
There is free parking nearby, but not in the park itself.
Ian Scott, Chairman of Falkirk Community Trust (FCT): ““We want everyone to have an enjoyable and safe night and would urge that they pay attention to safety messages beforehand and during the event.”
Do not to bring fireworks of any kind along and children must remain with adults throughout the event.
Please also dress appropriately for the weather and bring a torch.
Free parking is available between 6pm and 9pm on Thursday 5 November at: Kemper Avenue, Williamson Street, Callendar Business Park (Child Support Agency) and Graeme High School car parks.
There is no public parking (except residents and disabled) within Callendar Park.
During the event, donations will be collected that will allow FCT to continue to support Callendar park and the fireworks display event in the future.
