Local groups that have benefitted from the Todhill windfarm fund have been explaining what a difference the money has made to their facilities.

The fund, which opened in early 2016, has awarded grants to 12 groups in Larbert, Stenhousemuir and Torwood totalling over £40,000.

During an awards night last month, panel members and guests heard about Falkirk Junior Bike Club’s new shelter, the Dobbie Hall’s refreshed entrance hall and Stenhousemuir Primary’s new trim trail which has open access to the community.

The fund is also assisting groups like Radio Royal and 1st Larbert Scouts to upgrade equipment and improve their community services.
