The Howgate Shopping Centre in Falkirk is planning a whole host of egg-citing events to keep youngsters entertained during the holidays
From Monday, April 2, to Friday, April 9, young shoppers can take part in the annual Easter chick treasure hunt.
Collect a form from the Help Desk and get hunting around the centre for 10 chicks hidden in the windows of various shops. Everyone taking part will receive a handful of mini eggs.
There will also be a fantastic Easter Egg display - and you can count the eggs in the display for a chance to win an Easter basket full of goodies!
For movie fans, the world’s most famous magical car will be taking up residence in the centre from April 12 to 14. You will be able to get up close to the flying machine and even have your photo taken with it - with no chance of an appearance from the Child Catcher!
If these truly scrumptious events aren’t enough, there will also be a Farmers Market in the High Street on Good Friday, April 6, where there will be a wide variety of local produce available to buy.
Rounding off the Easter treats will be the Pirate Parade on Saturday, April 14, from 2 p.m. Captain Barnarossa and his band of buccaneers will search for treasure in Falkirk town centre and in the Howgate before the pirate pandemonium parade at 3.30 p.m.
And running in conjunction with these fun events is the centre’s Easter Egg appeal.
Chocolate eggs can be donated to the ‘egg pod’ beside the help desk in the centre until Monday, April 2.
These will then be distributed to local children through the Aberlour Child Care Trust.
