Shoppers can take pre-loved toys to their local Barnardo’s Scotland store or Argos stores and in return, will receive a £5 toy voucher. This can be spent in Argos stores towards the cost of new toys when you spend £35 or more, before Christmas Day.

The retailer’s annual Toy Exchange Scheme invites customers to donate pre-loved toys in exchange for a £5 toy voucher, which can be spent in Argos stores across Scotland towards the cost of new toys (minimum spend £35) until December 24.

The donated toys will be sold in Barnardo’s Scotland shops, raising vital funds for the charity which works to support local children and their families who need a little bit of extra help.

Martin Crewe, director of Barnardo’s Scotland, said: “Over the last four years we have had the generous support of Argos’ customers which enables us to keep providing support to children and young people in our services in the local community – and hopefully this year we will be able to help even more.”

Over the last three festive seasons, Argos shoppers across the UK have helped generate more than £1.9 million to help Barnardo’s.

Pre-loved toys can be donated to any Argos or Barnardo’s Scotland store until November 20.
