Bonnybridge songbird Sarah Morgan has already covered herself with glory in ITV’s “The Voice”, a nailbiting talent show test of ability and also endurance.
But, as everyone who has followed her journey this far is only too well aware, tonight could be the now-or-never decider.
Looking glamorous in her pre-show publicity shots the 16-year-old has already achieved stunning success by getting this far, but knows full well what she’s up against in tonight’s gladiatorial-style live show battle.
Four performers won’t be taking part in the next episode, and she’s determined she’s not going to be one of them.
Sarah is in the show’s Team Gavin with Truly Ford and Max Vickers, after the teams were reduced to just three each, and she seems well capable of repeating the stunning form she displayed with her magnificent rendition of “I Will Always Love You”.
But only eight acts can go through to the semi-final – and much will depend on the home support as to just which acts make that decisive cut.
Sarah may not be able to see them, but she’ll know thousands of local supporters will be cheering her on at home - and, we hope, helping her get through to the next bruising round.
The Voice is on STV tonight at 8.30pm.
