A very warm welcome awaits at morning worship at 9.45 a.m. on Sunday led by the Rev.Sandi McGill. You are invited to share in fellowship of a cup of tea or coffee with light refreshments, served in the Church after worship. Avonbridge Pastrol Care Group: if you know of any one in the Parish who is ill or in Hospital, or has been bereaved and would appreciate a visit or a card, please contact Pastoral Care co-ordinator Mrs Jean Wilson on (01324) 860105 or Mrs Aileen Thomson on (01324) 861352. The Annual Avonbridge World Clootie Dumpling Championship will be held on Sunday, February 23, doors open at 6.45 p.m. All clootie dumplings to be in by 7 p.m. and judging commences at 7.30 p.m. Entry tickets at the door. Adults £2, children £1, come along and enjoy a lovely evening with entertainment provided. Tea and coffee will be served at the end at the end of the evening.

Ceilidh night

A ceilidh night is being held in Avonbridge Community Hall on Saturday from 7.30-11 p.m.

Community Council

The next meeting of Avonbridge and Standburn Community Council will be held on Thursday, February 13 at 7 p.m. in Avonbridge Community Hall. Find out what is happening in your area, or if you have anything you want to discuss, come along.

Masonic meeting

The next meeting of Lodge Polmont No 793 will be on Wednesday, February 12 at 7.30 p.m. The business of the evening will be minutes, accounts, and a Third Degree. All qualified brethren and visitors will be made most welcome. The Valentines Night will be held on February 15 and some tickets are still available for the Burns Supper, which is on March 7.
