On Sunday, the Sacrament of Holy Communion will be celebrated in Bainsford Parish Church at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Michael R. Philip preaching and the Rev. Andrew Sarle giving support on the theme The Beatitudes - Persecuted. The Kirk Session will meet at 10.40 a.m. Tea and coffee will be served in the hall after the service. Bainsford Parish Church is holding its AGM on Sunday, March 23, in the hall after the service.

Country Dancing

Take the floor at Bainsford Parish Church hall, Smith Street, for Scottish Country Dancing each Thursday at 7.30 p.m. New members will be most welcome.

Job Club

Every Wednesday, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Dawson Centre there is a Job Drop In Club which has been in operation for nearly three years, with free access to Job Centre web site, help with CV, benefits advice and support available. Fruit Barra

The residents of Bainsford, Langlees and Newcarron have shown interest in a Fruit Barra project. Anyone interested are invited to lunch in the Dawson Cafe (which is located in the Dawson Centre) on Friday, March 7, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Come along and get fresh fruit and veg from your local farmer at reasonable prices. Healthy Start Vouchers will be accepted and there will be information on healthy eating, free recipe cards and tasting sessions. For any information, contact Michelle on (01324) 501470.

Braveheart Walks

We have an energetic Braveheart health walk each Wednesday leaving from Carron Co-op main entrance at 10.30 a.m. and finishing around 11.30 a.m in the cafe. Find out more by calling (01324) 673703 or the walk leader on (01324) 554897.

DASH Group

Do you suffer from anxiety or depression? This is a group which meets in a supportive and confidential environment on Mondays for a mixed group between 7-9 p.m. and men only which meets first and third Thursday from 2-4 p.m. in the Dawson Centre, Davids Loan.
