The session clerk advised the congregation that frustratingly it would take a further month until we could appoint a vacancy committee to seek a new minister. Meanwhile, our locum minister Rev. David Wandrum continues to hold the fort. This week’s sermon covered the topic of the individual’s own needs of healing which we all need during our life time. Meanwhile, it should be noted that the car park is being tidied up to provide additional space for the cemetery. The lunch bunch would like to thank those supporting the Thursday lunch and would stress that all are welcome church members or not between 11.30 - 1 p.m. Thanks to those who attended the Fellowship fundraising evening which resulted in £722 being made available to charities who support the homeless in Scotland and Rwanda, Africa. On Sunday, morning service will be conducted by Rev. David Wandrum at 11 a.m. in Church. Choir practice at 9.45 a.m., prayer meeting in the vestry at 10.30 a.m., Youth Church meets in the church at 11 a.m., creche in the fellowship room at 11 a.m. On duty are A Taylor and S Higgins. The Ministers Open Vestry hour will take place in the Church Hall on Tuesday Nights from 7 to 8 p.m. Anyone who needs the service of a minister please call into the Church Hall Office at this time. Anyone interested in being part of a widowed/singles friendship group meeting approximately monthly for outings, meals etc is asked to indicate their interest to either Helen Jeffrey or Doreen Baxter, and if there is enough interest, we will draw up a programme.

Would you like to develop your skills or learn new ones? Would you like to meet other like-minded people over delicious cake? Then the Gingerbread Cafe in Polmont needs you!
