Children have a new cycle track to learn their skills - thanks to the work of a residents association.
Macara Park Tenants and Residents Association in Denny has managed to have a cycle proficiency track built in the park for kids to practice their road safety skills.
The hard-working group received £2500 funding from the Carnegie Trust and £2000 from both Falkirk Environmental Trust and Falkirk Council and Denny Housing to make the dream come true.
Lynda Murphy said: “There was an old disused path in Macara Park we wanted to find a good use for and the new cycle track fits the bill and will benefit the community.
“It will help young children and even toddlers learn turns and how to read road signs to keep them safer next to roads.”
