The Time-Out Group meets this evening (Thursday) at 8pm in the Wheelhouse. Anyone needing a lift should contact Irene Rennie. The Worship on Sunday is at 11am and will be led by Sandra Mathers. Creche facilities will be available. The Walking Group meets at the Church on Tuesday at 7pm. (If it is raining at 6.30pm the walk will not take place). You are most welcome to come along and join the Group, the walks are gentle and suitable for everyone to enjoy. The Holiday Club for children will take place in August and any donations towards the running costs of this will be much appreciated. Boxes are available in the Church for this purpose. There will be a meeting of helpers on Wednesday, 5 August, at 7pm in the halls. A charity concert organised as part of the Denny Mission will be held in this Church on Thursday 30 July at 7pm. Donations to Strathcarron Hospice, Christian Aid and the Scottish Bible Society. All welcome. All intimations for Sunday Service to be with Janet Rhodes by Thursday night at the latest.

Baptist Church

The service on Sunday at 11am will be led by the Rev. Norman Graham. Visitors are always welcome. Following the service everyone is invited to stay for a barbecue in the grounds or in the hall if the weather is poor.

Citizens Advice

The bureau is located above Clydesdale Bank at 24 Duke Street, Denny and is open today (Thursday), Monday and Wednesday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and on Friday this week from 11am – 2pm. A legal clinic is held every four weeks on Wednesdays by appointment only (4-5pm). An outreach clinic is held at Bridge Crescent Community Flat on Tuesday from 9.30am-noon. Telephone service (Citizens Advice Direct) available Monday-Friday from 9am-8pm and Saturday 10am-2pm on (01324) 823118.

Step Forth

Like to walk but not on your own. Why not join our walking group. Step Forth is delighted to offer a new walk in Denny. It leaves from the community flat in Bridge Crescent at 6.30pm. The walk leaders who will show you new paths in the area.
