Worship on Sunday is at 11 a.m. and will be led by Sandra Mathers. There will be crèche facilities and the Sunday Club meets at the same time. The Lunch Box resumes on Monday from 11 a.m.-1.30 p.m. serving soup, sandwiches, tea/coffee and home baking. All welcome. The Girls’ Brigade meets on Monday at 6.30 p.m. and is open to all girls of school age. The Guild meets on Tuesday at 7.30 p.m. when the speaker will be Pat Smith from the Falkirk Christian Resources Trust. Anyone wishing to come along to the Guild will be made most welcome. The new flower calendar is now available in the hall. There are a few ‘free Sundays’ available and if you feel you would like to donate flowers, please have a word with Janet Rhodes. The Flower Guild is also urgently needing some more flower arrangers to help with the weekly arranging. If you could help with this at all it would be greatly appreciated. The service on Sunday will be led by locum minister, Reverend Phyllis Wilson at the usual time of 10.30 a.m. Wednesday Welcome has restarted again and Open Door resumes on January 15. The parent and toddlers Friday group restarts tomorrow at 9.30 a.m. The Thursday Toddlers starts back next week. The Point youth clubs meets tommorrow (Friday) at 6 p.m. for juniors and at 7.30 p.m. for seniors. The services on Sunday at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. will be led by the Reverend Norman Graham. Visitors are always welcome. The children and young people meet during the morning worship and a crèche is available during all services. The ladies Monday Mix meets this Monday at 7.30 p.m. with visitors from all the local Guilds. The “Acting up Puppets” are returning again to entertain the ladies. Tickets are £2.

The Wider Access to School Project (WASP) at Denny High has spaces on the following classes. Monday: French, flower arranging, family history, art and design, Tuesday: budget basic cooking. Wednesday: introduction to the internet, jewellery. Thursday: history, basic sewing, open swimming, aquacise, Friday: creative writing. The monthly meeting of Denny Wine Club takes place in Broompark Community Centre tomorrow (Friday) at 8 p.m. and subsequently on the second Friday of each month. Come along to learn all aspects of wine making from basic to advanced levels. New members are always welcome.
