Buggy Group

Wine Club

Next meeting takes place tomorrow (Friday) at the Broompark Centre and subsequently on the second Friday of each month. New members welcome. Come along to learn about all aspects of this challenging and rewarding hobby.

Denny Old

Worship on Sunday will be led by Sandra Mathers and will include the dedication service for the Holiday Club. The Holiday Club theme this year is ‘David and Goliath’, and it takes place next week from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m.-noon. All ages welcome to attend. The Church Walking Group meets on Tuesday evening and leaves the church at 7 p.m. You are welcome to come along and enjoy a gentle walk for about an hour. The Lunch Box will now re-open on Monday, August 25 instead of Monday, August 18 as previously arranged, so please note change of date.

Line Dancing

Next class takes place tomorrow (Friday) from 1-2 p.m. in the Broompark Centre. Beginners and improvers welcome.

Citizens Advice

The bureau is located above Clydesdale Bank at 24 Duke Street, Denny and is open today (Thursday), Friday, Monday and Wednesday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. A legal clinic is held every four weeks on Wednesdays by appointment only (4-5 p.m.). Outreach clinic held at Bridge Crescent Community Flat on Tuesday from 9.30 a.m.-noon. Dunipace Juniors

The Pace begin their season on Saturday with a home match against Kilsyth Rangers, kick-off 2 p.m. They host Cumbernauld United on Wednesday, kick-off 6.45 p.m.

Baptist Church

The speaker on Sunday at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. will be Douglas Inglis, a member of the Baptist Lay Preachers Association. Visitors are always welcome. Children can join the Summer Sunday School at 11.20 a.m. and a crèche is available during all services.

Wasp Classes

New classes are on offer at Wider Access to School Project in Denny High. Registration is Thursday, August 28 from 10 a.m.-noon in the school assembly hall and 6.30-8.30 p.m. in the Project wing.
