Worship on Sunday is at 11 a.m. and will be led by Marjory Williamson from Abronhill Church, Cumbernauld. The Lunch Box will be open for business as usual on Monday from 11 a.m.-1.30 p.m., serving soup, sandwiches, tea/coffee and home baking. All welcome. The services on Sunday at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. will be led by Rev. Norman Graham. Visitors are always welcome. Children and young people meet during the morning worship and a crèche is available for babies and toddlers during all services. Prayer groups meet in various venues during the week.
Next class takes place tomorrow (Friday) from 1-2 p.m. in the Broompark Centre. Beginners and improvers welcome.
A fundraising night for Denny community projects takes place in the Broompark Centre on Saturday from 6-9 p.m. with live entertainment. Tickets £3 for adults, £2 for children.
On Sunday Rev. Ray Thomson will lead worship at 10.30 a.m. Kidzone takes part at the start of the service then move to the halls to enjoy their own activities. Creche facilities are also available. The Wednesday Welcome is open from 10 a.m. for fellowship over tea or coffee followed by a short service from 11.15-11.45 a.m. Please note that the Open Door is open from 10.30 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Thursday). A regular meeting of Lodge St. Andrew, Denny & Loanhead, No. 176 will be on tonight (Thursday) when RWM Kevin McLean and the lodge office bearers will confer the Master Mason degree on one candidate. The Lodge will celebrate the 225th anniversary of the granting of its charter later this year and all members, current and previous, are urged to get involved. A number of events are planned including a re-dedication ceremony. On Sunday the children’s Easter Party was a great success. Thanks to all who assisted. On Wednesday RWM Kevin McLean plans to visit Crieff where PM Robert McLaren is affiliating. As a result the general committee has been put back 24 hours.
