The service on Sunday is a Family Service and Book Giving led by Rev. Dr Jean Gallacher at 11 a.m. and is likely to be held in the Church Hall. An anniversary Themed window display and exhibition will be held on Saturday, June 20, from 10 a.m. To 12 p.m. And 2 p.m. To 4 p.m. and on Sunday, June 21 at 2 p.m. To 4 p.m.  Cost £4 including tea and Home Baking. A Pilgrimage to historical church sites will be held on Sunday, June 28, gathering at Dunipace Church at 2.45 p.m. and leaving at 3 p.m. Sites to be visited are as follows:Cambuskenneth Abbey,Hills of Dunipace, Larbert Old and Denovan Church, the Tin Hut site at Dunipace and finally at Dunipace Church. A BBQ will be held at the completion of the visits priced at £3. Anyone requiring transport should contact the Minister.

Baptist Church

There is a family service is at 11 a.m. on Sunday with the annual Prize Giving for the children. The evening service is at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Norman Graham speaking at both services. Visitors are always welcome.


The next YMCA fun night is on Friday, July 3, from 6.30 until 8.30 p.m. Bouncy Castle, crafting, games music and more. Book via Denny and Dunipace .Y.M.C.A. Facebook page For all Primary School’s in the area. Come on down and have some fun. The Tuesday Fun Club is proving to be popular with the kids and parents we play game do some singing and dancing loads of fun no need to book just come on down. Let the fun begin! Citizens Advice

The bureau is located above Clydesdale Bank at 24 Duke Street, Denny and is open today (Thursday), Friday, Monday and Wednesday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. A legal clinic is held every four weeks on Wednesdays by appointment only (4-5 p.m.). Outreach clinics are held at the Archibald Russell Centre (today) 10-12noon, Bridge Crescent Community Flat on Tuesday from 9.30 a.m.-noon and Denny Parish Church Hall on Wednesday from 9.30 a.m.-11.30 a.m. Telephone service (Citizens Advice Direct) available Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on (01324) 823118.


Wider Access to School Project’s annual general meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 24, at 7 p.m. in the Library, Denny High School and thereafter in the WASP Adult Lounge for Refreshments.
