In Pictures: Grangemouth parade pays tribute to Armed Forces heroes

People were able to show their appreciation for members of the Armed Forces past and present in Grangemouth last weekend.

The town’s Armed Forces Day parade took place on Saturday, August 29 and saw veterans march from Grangemouth British Legion in Dundas Street just before noon.

The route took them through the town centre, along Wallace Steet, Abbots Road and Bo’ness Road returning to the British Legion.

As you can see from Falkirk Herald photographer Michael Gillen’s picture, it was day to remember for those who took part and did indeed honour Armed Forces personnel past and present.
