Death at Lenzie causes rush hour disruption for thousands of commuters
Rush hour services were severely disrupted this morning after a man was struck by a train at Lenzie at around 7.30 a.m.
All services stopping at Falkirk High and Polmont stations were temporarily suspended as the main line between Glasgow Queen Street and Edinburgh Waverley was closed, with passengers being diverted to Falkirk Grahamston.
Services to and from Larbert station were also subject to delays.
The main line has now re-opened.
